A pretty handy tool really. Was using mailchimp but got annoyed with their lack of support and found automations complicated. The auto product emails and suggestions are quite relevant and takes care of half the work.
The product is excellent, and full of hidden gems as you get to know it more. The customer service is top shelf.

This might be the best Shopify app we've used. Compared to a few of the other email marketing apps we tried, SmartrMail is the most intuitive. It makes designing emails and setting up automations really, really easy, and it paid for itself in sales quickly. Their support is awesome too.

Shopify review
First, it is so easy to use and intuitive. Having used the majority of the leading mail programs out there, I can say this is not always the case.
Secondly, the customer service just blows me away - they are so responsive and SO helpful. This is also in sharp contrast to many other mail providers out there.
Third, it's easy for designers and developers to work with, even if they've never worked with SmartrMail before. We love love LOVE SmartrMail!!!
